Bumble Bee Cake

 Hadlee was really into bumble bees when she turned 4 and requested a bumble bee birthday party.  

the cake is covered with fondant, that's supposed to be a flower underneath the bee (if you couldn't tell).  The wings are made out of glass candy.  Luckily I made three, because I dropped one after we got to the party.

Barbie Cake (Sleeping Beauty)

Hadlee's 4th birthday we had two parties.  This was one of her cakes, Sleeping Beauty.  This was my first fondant experience and it went pretty well.  Although I look at this now with critical eyes, Hadlee was beyond excited about her cake.
